🐝Our Beekeeper Class is HERE — and It’s Going to Be So Good!

Did you know that right here at Koetsier’s, we have our very own beekeeper tending active honey-bee hives on our backyard?!

These tiny powerhouses are master pollinators, working hard every single day to keep our neighborhood ecosystem healthy and flourishing 🌻 — and our beekeeper Don Snoeyink makes sure they’re well cared for AND harvests honey for us to enjoy!

Don has been a Michigan beekeeper for 20 years and is overflowing with passion, knowledge, and the kind of enthusiasm that is absolutely contagious. 🙌

He visited Grow Club last summer and we could not wait to have him back.

Saturday, June 13 is going to be SO GOOD. Here’s what’s in store for our Grow Club fam:

🐝An interactive presentation on the amazing life of bees

🔍A close-up look at live honey-bees (safely in a cage!)

🍯A taste of our very own homegrown honey

🌿A hike out to our hives to see our bees buzzing in the wild!

Mr. Don will guide us every step of the way so everyone — bees included — stays happy and safe. 😊

We’re running 10am–12pm. Presentation kicks off at 10:15 and the hike wraps by noon — plenty of time to be home for lunch with a whole lot of new bee facts to share!

Let’s show up for Don, for our bees, and for each other as we learn to steward this wild, wonderful world we live in. 🌍✨
