It’s already the last week of October!

And that means in my opinion one of the prettiest months in Michigan is wrapping up.

I find it super special that Mother Nature gives us an overwhelming amount of beauty before the (you know what) season comes!

So to make the last week a little extra special, I’m sharing a simple + fun dinner idea to mark the end of this gorgeous month!

This is a recipe I found online for jack-o-lantern pizza bites.

All you need is:

-pie crust dough (homemade or store-bought)

-a pumpkin cookie-cutter

-your favorite pizza fixings (sauce, cheese, pepperoni)

-1 egg (optional)

-Italian/pizza seasoning (optional)

Directions:

1. Stretch your dough out and cut pumpkins into it.

2. spoon a bit of spaghetti sauce on the pumpkin dough and add a pinch of cheese + a pepperoni or two

3. then cover the top with another piece of pumpkin dough

4. use a fork to push the edges together

5. cut out eyes and a mouth on the top dough if you want!

6. to make a finishing touch, wash the tops in egg and sprinkle with seasoning

6. place your pizza bites on a pan and bake at 400 F until they are yummy golden (about 16mins)

Yum! It can be a fun dinner with the family!

And there is no real jack-o-lantern mess to clean up. Just spaghetti sauce!

I hope you enjoy the weekend and I’ll be back in touch next Thursday with our winter season Grow Club calendar!

Until then,
