Bees. Butterflies. Hummingbirds. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿชถ
They’re small. They’re mighty. And honestly? They need us right now.
In a world that prizes convenience and control, so many of our precious ecosystems have been quietly disappearing โ€” lost to development, pesticides, and careless land use.
But here’s the good news: people are waking up. Communities are turning the tide. ๐ŸŒŠ
And THIS Saturday, we’re joining that movement together! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’š
Yellow pollinator
โœจThis week’s special guest is someone who is dedicating her life to the good stuff!

Megan Raisch-Jenkins โ€” Outdoor Educator, West Michigan native, and passionate pollinator advocate โ€” is coming to Grow Club to teach us everything pollinators: who they are, what they do, and how we can help them thrive โ€” right in our own backyards!
Megan RJ
Megan graduated from Hope College with an Environmental Science degree and has since worked at local nature centers to teach young kids how to have fun outside and the importance of protecting their home ecosystems.
She grew up with a backyard garden and loves to care for plants in her home and garden!
This is our kind of person! ๐ŸŽ‰

And after class? We’re making dragonfly mobiles to take home! ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿงš
Dragonfly craft
Dragonfly craft 2
Here’s a fun fact that might blow your mind: dragonflies eat from 30 to hundreds of mosquitoes per day! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
They are nature’s pest control โ€” no harmful sprays needed. Inviting them into our spaces means a healthier environment for our plants, our families, and ourselves.
This is what it looks like when we choose to work with nature instead of against it. ๐Ÿค And it starts right here, with all of us, this Saturday.
Megan and I can’t wait to learn, create, and grow alongside you! ๐ŸŒฟ
Looking forward with you,
Caroline Thomet ๐ŸŒท
